Do you have parking?

There is no parking lot at the hostel. There is meter street parking in front of the hostel, as well as parking lots nearby.

Can I check-in before 4 pm?

Sometimes. Depending upon room availability and staffing, we may be able to get you into your room before 4 pm, but there are no guarantees. Newly arriving guests are welcome to come in after 8 am and drop of their luggage and enjoy our lobby area until we can get you into your room. Guests arriving before check-in can leave their luggage in our storage area, and are welcome to hang out in our spacious lobby until check-in.

Can I check-in after 12 am (midnight)?

If circumstances cause you to be late, we can make arrangements to get you into your room after midnight. Please, call us while we are open to discuss the process. Also, make sure you leave your e-mail address or/and phone number (with activated voicemail) when you make your reservation, so we can contact you.

Do you have lock-out times?

No, the dorms are accesible 24/7. The reception desk and downstairs lounge are closed from midnight until 8 am.

I do not have a passport, drivers license, etc. Can I use other ID?

We generally do not accept other forms of ID such as school IDs, military ID, Social Security cards, etc. In extreme circumstances, we might be able to accommodate you at management's discretion.

Do you charge my credit card when I make a reservation?

The hostel does not make any charges to your credit card when you make a reservation. We hold the information, and will only make charges to it if you do not cancel or modify your reservation within the 48 hour cancellation period. Hostel booking sites will charge you a 12% fee when you make a reservation through their booking sites, therefore, feel free to book with us with no extra charges.

Can you bill another persons credit card?

Under certain circumstances, and at the manager's discretion, we can take a payment from a credit card that is not in your name. We will need both written, verbal confirmation, and a scanned picture ID from the card holder, before we can make any charges. Additional charges will apply.

I want to book a room for Comic-Con. When can I do that?

Our rooms during Comic Con are subject to different stipulations. Please see the Comic Con tab for specific information on how to book a bed for Comic Con and when those rooms will become available. We generally do not open our calendar for those dates until spring.

Do you have any private rooms?

Yes, we have 4 private rooms which have 1 bunk (2 beds) and a sink. These rooms are not ensuite.

Am I allowed to bring in guests?

Registered guests are allowed to bring friends into our downstairs lounge. Please register them first at the front desk. NO visitors are allowed upstairs into the dorm area of the hostel.

Can I smoke here?

We have 3 outdoor smoking areas. There is no smoking inside the building. This includes hookahs, cigars, vapes and other electronic devices. Guests caught smoking while inside the building will lose their deposit and may be subject to an additional cleaning fee.

Do you allow children?

No.

Do you accept older folks?

We have no maximum upper age limit. However, please be advised that the dorm area is upstairs, and we cannot guarantee a lower bunk. If you need a lower bunk, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

What time is check-out, can I check-out later/earlier?

Check-out is from 8 am to 11 am. If you need to leave before 8 am, please see the receptionist the night before to make arrangements. If you want to do a checkout after 11 am, please contact the receptionist the night before to see if any special arrangements can be made.

Do you have luggage storage?

On the day you check out, you can leave your bags in our luggage storage area in the lounge, free of charge for the day. Overnight storage is available at at minimum charge per bag. Bags are left at your own risk.

What is your cancellation policy?

There is a 48 hour cancellation policy. Guests have up until 4 pm, 2 days prior to the start of their reservation to modify or cancel with no charge. Guests changing or canceling their reservation within 48 hours on the day of the start of their reservation, will be charged the equivalent of one night's stay. There is no refund once you have checked-in. This does not apply to Comic-Con reservations, where there are no refunds and no exceptions.

We add a City Tax of 12.5%.
Your reservations are not guaranteed until you sign our 'Holiday & Special Events Policy' and we run your credit card (we do not accept American Express).
